Self-proclaimed hair model, ninja turtle fanatic who lives by one motto - “Life is Good.” Although born and raised in Northern Virginia, Kunal is a former Ohio State Buckeye (O-H!) who enjoys shooting hoops, playing FIFA (usually getting his butt kicked) and spending time with his friends and family. Previously Kunal spent over 2 years in North Carolina working on his first start up idea (Fact or Myth? Tulika was the inspiration behind Kunal’s company name, “Tuee.”) Kunal currently works in Tysons, VA as a Product Manager. When he’s not too busy aspiring to become the next Mark Zuckerberg or Steve Jobs, you will find Kunal traveling, reading the latest entrepreneurial novel, or dragging his friends to his favorite wild local bar, Carpool.
A true dessert connoisseur with an insatiable sweet tooth, lover of all things Bollywood and definition of “Life of the Party!” Originally Tulika grew up in Western NY and later moved to Northern Virginia. Tulika is a VCU graduate (Go RAMS!) who enjoys skiing, traveling and spending time with her friends and family. She previously spent 2 years in North Carolina teaching in a rural community through the Teach for America program. Currently, Tulika works in Reston, VA as a Business Analyst. When she is not at the gym perfecting her guns of steel, you can find her at the local cupcake shop (her idea of a “well balanced diet” is a cupcake in each hand!)

Kunal and Tulika met while Tulika was in college and Kunal was visiting his best friend at VCU. His best friend, Shahrukh, played matchmaker and introduced the two and they hit it off. After countless Facebook messages, emails and gchat conversations, they finally decided to make it “official.”

As you all may know, Kunal is truly a hopeless romantic. Hence, Kunal and Tulika’s first few dates consisted of passing the football around Belle Isle Park in Richmond and dining at Richmond’s exclusive quesadilla restaurant, BoDillaz. Tulika was blown away by Kunal’s charm and excellent in taste in dining.
